in turn 9(righthander and uphill afterwards) lots of understeering on the exit, in real watkins glen - there is a bit safe zone, about 1-2meters of asphalt of the track, and it helps to avoid spinning putting left front and rear wheels on the grass... bad that there is no that asphalt in rf track.. =\

First time I've seen the track so I take it as it is :p

Do you know of a better version for rFactor?

You must keep two wheels inside the white line at all times - so this helps enforce that rule.

This version definitely works so will be sticking to it- had some problems with last minute circuits recently so I'd rather stick to something stable.

nobody said that you won't keep wheels inside the tracklines, I said about safety, and as u know lots of stuff have been made with some tracks because of it... lots of gravel and grass zones was made of asphalt because of safety, u will better brake on asphalt rather then on grass or sand(there is sand zone after 10 and 12 turns in that edit of Watkins glen, and if u go there - god help you to reach the track if u r on nice speed)

I can say that this:
http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Watkins Glen
is more like this:

0:57-1:00 on the left side of Danica's car - that what i'm talking about, this is asphalt zone outside the track.

I dont insist on racing this edit of track, I just say that this is more like real.

Thats the same track - Watkins Glen 2.0 - i downloaded it from rFc, and host it myself so people dont have to subscribe there.

can anybody say what time is competitive on long type that track?)

I have managed a 1:24.995 just now, but that's only like after 15 laps on it. However, my Hermanos Rodriguez setup works well here.

EDIT: Scratch that. 1:21.697 with about 1.5-2.5 seconds still left out on track. I predict pole will be around the low 1:17's when the faster blokes let loose.
