News Exclusive Live Stream: Answering Assetto Corsa EVO Questions With Marco Massarutto

What has been outlined based on the information so far is that AC provides a platform for the game to its users, where race organizers and 3D modellers can freely implement their diverse ideas.

While in AC EVO, I have the feeling that you want to lead the entire community, but in doing so you limit the tools of the experts. Or will there be shady areas where we can achieve the freedom of AC? In such a case, users would receive a warning that the vehicle data does not correspond to reality, which may have completely unexpected and unrealistic properties.

For example:
One of our members regularly makes completely unique cars for the Christmas season by modifying an existing one. Adding light strings, Christmas tree, driver animations, etc.

As an organizer, can I throw out my soapbox race, where the competitors had to start with their own 3D model?

Same for tracks. I had to modify them more than once. I had to add more slots, prevent cuts, create unique lines, etc.

Last questions:
Are you planning microtransactions?

1.How about livery editing. Is it from day one that you can really make own livery using blender, gimp, etc...., and not just ingame editor where you can just choose existing livery components?
2.How about anticheat?
3.Next one goes little bit off line. Why is AC so different from ACC in terms of curb behaviour and would EVO be successor to both of them in terms of physics?

I heard at the sim expo and in the diverse gameplay trailers that the car sounds were somewhat left behind. With for example the Alpine A110 and Porsche 992 GT3 Cup having their sound directly copy pasted from ACC. Were those engine sounds simply place holders and is there going to be an overhaul of the engine sounds ready for early access release?

So we all are really excited for AC EVO! But will ACC be supported as well? Especially for the competitive sim racing community..

And my secone question is about the console release.. can something be said about that?
