Winner submitted a new resource:

Enhanced smoke scenes - More smoke when braking and reversing

F1 2013 smoke scene is ok but if you want more smoke, you may like to use this mod. Just replace tunePfx.xml in effects folder. As in F1 2012, you can't see smoke at start of race; but unlike 2012, in 2013 you can't see it in replay also.
Work for present and classic cars and will not corrupt saved games.

More than enough smoke as default for me, when its not doing the flashing bug. Thanks for the effort though.

Winner updated Enhanced Smoke Scenes with a new update entry:

Eliminate occasional flashing of smoke

Improvement as indicated in the title. Replace tunePfx.xml in effects folder. This is a visual mod so will not affect car performance or corrupt saved games.

Have you tried adjusting maxParticlePeak="150.0"? Just wondering if higher num makes more smoke or makes it last longer or what.

Yah, lower value has less smoke. Depends on your preference, a value between 50 and 100 helps to conceal flashing bug.

Sorry I was talking about the game without mods as I had seen flashing then but with the mod update it was fixed.
