Let's fill up the grid! You can ask other drivers to race with you by using the tag function of the forum. Just type an @ directly followed by the user name and this person will receive a notification. Example @@RaceDepartment

Our racing clubs are foremost meant to gain online experience so please help other drivers out when they have questions about the event, the car, the track, the setup or a combination. This is not a league race, it's not about who wins, it's for some fun, so please join us on TeamSpeak and build a little community spirit! The more fun we make it, the more inclined people will be to join in and make the grids bigger.

Priority access
In case of a large amount of sign-ups premium members are given priority access to enter this event.

NOTE TO CLUB MEMBERS:
I would just like to remind everyone these club events are just for fun. No matter if you are posting record lap times, or if you are vastly off the pace, how fast or slow you are does not matter. As long as you are able to follow the rules, and be courteous towards other drivers, you have something to contribute as well as something to learn from others. Please don't be discouraged by how well you know the car or track. If you are someone who is normally competing for podiums, but you don't know the track, look at it as a test of your instincts and an opportunity for the slower members to place higher. I realise everyone wants to be competitive, but this results in lower sign ups as people tend to shy away from events they are not as fast in. So please, sign up for events you are slow in as well. This is all about the fun and the learning experience, leagues will come later for all the :alien:'s.

Just for the record, that can be actually really fun. Especially if you can get someone to drive a road car as a pace car. Its interesting how the pace car can be pushing to the limit and for the lotus you are just cruising behind comfortably

If you don't mind someone connecting from Europe I would love to join as the Exos s1 is my favorite car. I'm on fiber and usually ping 130 ms to the east coast.

The special notes seem to contradict the schedule below it though. Does the booking begin at 0:00 GMT or 1:00 GMT? If it's at 1:00 GMT then it's too late for me.

Booking begins at 00:00. Sorry about that, forgot to change those. No problem as for connecting from EU. Netcode is much better now, we regularly have an Aussie or two joining us, even they can run smoothly. The more the merrier!

I'm up for just having fun and I haven't had much practice in this car so setup will probably be pretty important to keep us close. If we want to, we can just come back together about every 5-8 laps and give it a go again. Whatever works. It will be pretty obvious early on who is fastest so winning between 3-5 guys won't mean too much but re-grouping and racing each time will probably be more fun for all of us.

Hi guys,

It appear that in some ways, I just pop up in you race without having sign up.
I'm new in racedepartement, and seing the delay, 30s, I rushed in without thinking.
Maybe I should have stop right after the green light, but my instinct just pushed the throttle, throwing myself in an unknowned race.
I just would like to apologize for any disturbance i would have generated.

And maybe I could race with you according to the rules .

How did you get the server password?

Ok guys, everyone was honest about it so I'll just give a public warning on this one.

The passwords are not to be shared under any circumstances.
If the staff feels that it is still possible for a late sign up to join, we will add them to the password PM. If someone joins teamspeak wanting to join a race, they must first sign up by the standard procedure.

I know you guys want as many people to join as possible, and I understand why you shared it with him, really in this situation it wasn't a problem. But rules are rules.

I appreciate everyones honesty, and no worries.
