The tenth and final race of the 2014 DTM season takes place today at the Hockenheimring in Southern Germany. From 12:00 GMT onward fans can watch the livestream coverage of the grand finale.
Although the DTM Drivers’ Championship has already been decided in favor of Marco Wittmann in his BMW M4 DTM since the race at the Lausitzring, there are still plenty of interesting battles ahead to decide the runner-up and the remaining spots on the points table.
In qualifying for the season finale, Miguel Molina (Audi RS 5 DTM) secured pole position. Mattias Ekström and Edoardo Mortara underlined the strong performance by the brand from Ingolstadt by qualiying in second and third place respectively. Thus, Audi has good chances to topple BMW from the lead in the manufacturers’ standings.
