Does anyone here own a Simlab SF1 seat?

Probably should have asked before ordering one but just wanted to find out how the transaction went, how long it took to arrive? i can only find a few pics on their website and did a quick search on here and drew a blank.

It's a great seat - quite wide (as is in not body hugging) and comfortable for long'ish stints. And as their blurb says, easy to position in either F1 or GT syle. I got mine a few months back and it took about 10 days to get to the UK. Worth noting that I believe they are built or least sent from Spain - if I get a chance I will post some pics tomrrow so you can see it in situ - happy to try and answer any other questions you may have

thats good to hear, i'm in the UK too. I'm finding the whole process with Sim Lab really frustrating, i ordered initially early Oct, got the seat rails and mounts really quickly, ended up getting annoyed after 2 weeks because they couldn't tell me when the seat was going to ship (i thought it was in stock), kept saying a few days, a few days anda week or two later i then reordered. I think I'm 3 weeks in again with this order and no idea what's going on.

I've now been told 3 - 4 weeks from ordering (although it doesnt say that anywhere on the product page) so maybe it'll arrive next week but have zero confidence in that and have a feeling its going to be longer. I've never dealt with a company that seems to have no idea when i'll receive a product i've ordered. I know we're in weird times and can understand the actual shipping time might be delayed, but at least give an accurate estimate when it'll leave the factory in Spain. It was a few days a few weeks ago, those estimates seemed to be completely finger in the air.

Did you have any heads up when it shipped from Spain? or was the first you knew about it when it arrived at the front door?
All that said i'm really looking forward to having a seat on my rig, i've recently upgraded to a Aluminium Rig, DD and Heusinkvelds and have pushed up a lounge chair for the time being :)

Yes - I had similar problems earlier in the year when looking to order a P1-x from SimLab - ended up going with Racing Sim Rigs UK (they are an authorised vendor here on RD) and making a few of my own modifications. I have since ordered the SimLab triple screen mount and have to say it was listed as in stock - ordered on the Monday it was with me on the Thursday - so ordering can be a bit hit & miss.

With specific reference to the SF1 seat, if I remember correctly I received any email from Simlab about 3 days before it arrived providing details of the courier along with tracking details - FYI as you would expect it comes in rather a big box - just managed to get it through the front door!

Have attached some picture of my rig with the SF1 installed
