DIY digital dash on the Cheap

I've been looking around for a way to mount my phone, used a dash, where I could see it clearly but have it integrated with my wheel and base. I've looked at and came close to purchasing a pre-made unit for anywhere between $50 and $80. This is what I came up with for $9 and change and about two hours of work to get it fitted properly. One piece of lexan, 4 bolts, washers and spaces as well as some "carbon fiber" look vinyl wrap.

Nice job! I've been looking into the same thing and haven't decided if I was going to build it or buy it pre-made. Is the lexan easy to use? cut, shape, etc?
It was easy enough with the proper tools. Lexan cutter was like $9 and then I used Dremel sander to round out the corners and cutting wheel to slice the bolt holes. You just need to be patient with the Lexan so as not to melt or crack it. Still ended up being way cheaper than buying one.
