Disruptive game advert

Anybody else being bombarded with obnoxiously loud autio on entering the site?
Every single time I've enter this site in recent days, I've been hammered with distracting and quite frankly...annoying audio for a game called Godess of Victory.
While I understand there needs to be advertising to help pay the bills, it would be nice not to have my eardrums blown out every time I visit Overtake.GG.
Thanks.

Not a perfect solution, but some browsers allow you to mute a site which might help. For example on chrome you can just right click on the tab and there should be the option to 'mute site' in the menu. For me this is remembered even when I close and re-open the tab. Only problem is that this mutes all the embedded videos.

My ads are actually muted by default, so I'm guessing there is another setting somewhere in chrome that I'm not familiar with. I'll have a bit of a dig when I get some time.

I switched to Opera and that fixed it.
Still...it should never have been allowed.
I do not mind the pictures associated with the advertisment but the loud audio was way over the top.

I don't use ad blockers.

I use NordVPN "through the router" and Malwarebytes Pro.

Never see any ads on any sites whatsoever, no spam email on any of my devices and 1,000's of blocks a day :x3:
