DDSD LUTs | Photomode Film-Accurate Color-Grading LUTs - 12 color-grading LUTs to use in the AC photo mode app.

View attachment 796069

If you've ever played around with CSP's Photo Mode app, you'll have surely noticed that it comes with a whole host of color grading options. I really enjoyed some of the effects and lighting options these offered, and wondered "could you import more realistic film-effect LUTs into AC?".

Short answer - yes! I did some research on most-commonly used and popular films and compiled a small pack of 12 LUTs that are ready to be used in AC. Just extract the...

What PP-Filter should this be used? I'm getting different results with different filters. Sadly none looks like yours lol
All the reference images in my original post are using the stock Pure filter with Linear Colour Spacing enabled in WeatherFX, rather than Gamma - might have some bearing on the final image if you’re on Gamma instead.

Lighting, time of day, scenery etc will all play a large factor too.

Thanks for your hard work on this. Quick question, though... how do I get the colour profile to stay enabled when taking the photo?

When I go into photo mode everything works until I take the picture. When I either click to take the photo in the app or press F12, the photo gets taken with the default colour profile rather than the one I selected. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

I’ve not encountered this personally unfortunately, but I did hear someone else that was using them disabled FSR under Graphics Adjustments to get it working - even though it’s meant to be disabled for screenshots when it’s enabled. Hope that gets it sorted for you!

I've noticed this as well, a looong time ago. This is even more noticeable on HDR monitors.
To try and lessen the issue I switched my Nvidia color settings to use Ycbcr440 instead of RGB (which borked all my screenshots)

Thank you! I’ll give that a try.

DD SimDesign updated DDSD LUTs | Photomode Film-Accurate Color-Grading LUTs with a new update entry:

FYI for FSR users!

Decided to look into why color grading doesn't retain when FSR is enabled, even if "Disable for Screenshots" is checked in the CSP settings.

Long and short of it is - the button doesn't do anything, at all. :)

However, you can change this in the .ini itself!

Navigate to assettocorsa\extension\config, then find and open graphic_adjustments.ini

Find the FSR section in this file and change "DISABLE_FOR_SCREENSHOTS" 1 to 0.

That's it! It works with the game running too...
