Cyan Racing, the crack team behind the recent Volvo WTCC championship success are set to return to racing with the new Lynk & Co brand.

Lynk & Co are a Chinese-Swedish automotive brand owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Founded in 2016 with the aim of producing ultra modern, digitally connected cars for the young professionals marketplace, the manufacturer has steadily been growing its portfolio of vehicles over the last 24 months, revealing the new 03 earlier this year with an expected sale planned for 2019.

Having begun the journey towards establishing themselves in the marketplace, the innovative and little known brand have now entered a partnership with long time Volvo sporting arm Cyan Racing, with the intention of developing the soon to be released Lynk & Co 03 for competition in an as yet undefined touring car series.

Speaking of the decision to use the Lynk & Co brand for Geely Motorsport and Cyan Racing in touring cars going forward, a spokesperson for the brand had the following to say:

“There is nowhere on earth where the traffic is as intense as on a racing circuit and for a new brand like Lynk & Co there are endless possibilities through a motorsport programme in terms of testing technology, components and philosophies to their extremes.”
Further information on this intriguing new partnership has yet to be revealed, however it is expected that more detailed information should be made available as we head into the later months of the year.

Designer: Imagine..... a Porsche Panamera sat on top of a VW Scirroco which was then rammed up the shitter by an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio that was wearing some Halfords Peugeot knock-off tail lights.

Directors: Hmmmm... Go on.

Designer: I wasn't being serious, but if i must...

Another typical Chinese disaster!
The one area that China stuffs up with monotonous regularity is the 'home grown' automotive designs.
Think 'Great Wall', 'Havall'(?) and 'Ssasyong'(?).
:roflmao:

For those saying it is a Chinese copy... all Lync & Co cars are completely designed in Sweden by the Volvo design team and built on Volvo base plates. They are probably pretty decent cars and have as much to do with China as normal Volvos.
