I hear crysis is the most system intensive game on the market right now, with most systems not able to get decent frame rates at times out of the game.

Yes its pretty hard on the old comp.

Run #1- DX10 1280x1024 AA=No AA, 64 bit test, Quality: High ~~ Last Average FPS: 29.92

Running the game at 1900x1200 16xAA with texture quality at very high results in about 15fps according to fraps.
But it doesent really seem to affect the game much its still playable.

And this is with an Nvidia 8800GTX and a quad core E6600 with 2gig of pc9200 ram

So yea a hefty system would be required to get this running maxxed out.

Im a Crysis player, my lowest frame rate is around 50 FPS, GFX are turned up quite a bit but as im on XP no DX 10 unless I hack it,

Great single player gamebut its just a shame the multiplayer sucks!

I dl'd the demo, and with all graphics set to medium, with system graphics set to 8X AA and 8X AF I have a little lag in parts of the demo. Might be due to something else running in the background though, so not absolutely sure.

To be honest, with everything in medium the graphics are pretty nice. I can't imagine what you are looking at Atti, but it must be awesome.

Now try to play multiplayer with them settings lolz

They may have future proofed the graphics, but lets face it by the time the average Joe gets a rig to play this on max setting witch is what the game was designed for, it will be an old title & in the local game shop bargin bin...
