Content Manager (Questions & Answers)

All of a sudden, Since downgrading back to windows 10 from 11, I have to run Content manager as an administrator to get VR to work. If i dont VR is just a black screen on both my headset and monitor. And it would be that big of a deal if administration mode doesnt allow for drag and drop mods. Any one know what this could be?

I need some help to figure out how to reset content manager to load up with the "drive" page as first page instead of "content" (which is crashing atm).
Do you know where is (and what is ) the file containing this information?

Solved.
If anyone is interested:
renaming "CefSharp-91.1.211-x86" folder in the plugins folder under /steamapps/compatdata/244210/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Local Settings/Application Data, and launching CM gives an error and resets it to default drive page on next start.

How can I take a screenshot with a transparent background? When I set the scene to None and the image format to png, the background is always visible anyway.

Maybe the track or a car. Did you try kunos Standart content? You still have the option to rename your whole /Documents /Assetto Corsa folder. This will reset all your settings. If it then works, it was a setting...

Try to rename you're /Documents /Assetto Corsa folder. This will reset all your settings. If it runs again, it was a setting.

It crashes if I select opponents manually. For example:

In RSS mod I do my own grid with F1 2023 drivers and it crashes. If I select 20 opponents (same car) it works.

First time using content manager:
1. In the controls, it shows my fanatec DD2 twice, but the one listed first is the one that moves with the associated buttons
2. My pedals show twice, but the bottom one is the one associated with pedals.
Every single time I get on content manager I have to load the saved controls preset or my pedals do not work.

(I could be off in the naming of these but) I have tried the CSP, automatically fix controls order, Scan devices at launch.

It seems since the working pedal is 2nd on the list it will not register first unless I load the preset. How do I fix this issue?
 
For anyone familiar with how the content manager compression tool works, is it advised when creating a back up of your content folder to do so in an de-compressed state? I'm not sure if doing it while they are currently compressed would cause issues and the original files would no longer be able to be de-compressed if I ever have to restore from the backup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
