Sell Clearpath custom 3DOF motion actuators system (Similar to SFX100/150)

Up for sale is a set of 3DOF, 4 motion actuators system for serious sim racing enthusiast, this is a similar setup to popular SFX100/150 with the exception of using Clearpath motors which means no external servo drives needed. This allow for a very clean setup with everything connecting to a main controller box, just one power cable for everything. Below are the specs and I will also include Simtools with license, 3D Fusion files, cables and mounting brackets (mount to 8020 rig). The whole package is fully functional and pretty much plug and play. Asking for fraction of the price compare to current market offerings like PT-actuators, D-Box and still cheaper than building your own SFX100 system especially considering higher cost of the Clearpath motors. You can also see a video of the actuators in action in the video below. Please email me with any questions.

$1870 USD

Located in Southern California, prefer local pickup due to weight but if shipping is required domestic or internationally, we can work on shipping price as it might be pretty expensive to ship especially international

  1. Actuators are made with Teknic Clearpath SERVO motors (CPM-MCVC-3432D-RLN). Instead of stepper motor these are virtually silent much like Frex Hyperaxis.
  2. The servo drives a lead ballscrew and has a CUI sensor on the axle with a 12bit resolution (4096steps). This results in
  3. +300mm/s under load. SCN5 underload is maybe 40mm/s. Each actuator should be capable of 700lbs weight this is however not tested.
  4. Max Travel distance is 175mm.
  5. Controller is custom made with Atmel Microchip, i takes 1 usb port and will be configured as a std COM port. This works great with Simtools.

I don't care about the Fanatec wheel but I'd love to get some of the information about using the Clearpath servos as I like the compactness of not having a cabinet with servo drives in it to place in the room.

Did you ever get info on this? I’m looking into building a 3DOF system with the Clearpath servos.
