Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

In parallel with Han's modern car Fat- Alfie Championship we're running the same tracks in the same order with some older machinery.

For all but Thomsom Road, you'll have chance to learn the track for the Weds race and have a go in some classic cars the following Tuesday.

As a introduction to Fat-Alfie we'll hold a non-championship race at Bilster Berg on 10th Oct - the first track he created and quite different from those that followed.

These are the six events:

  • 17-10-2023: Thomson Road (Singapore, 4,9km) - results
  • 07-11-2023: Bremgarten (Switzerland, 7,3km ) - results
  • 21-11-2023: Deutschlandring (Germany, 10km) - results
  • 05-12-2023: Feldbergring (Germany, 11,4km) - results
  • 19-12-2023: Battenbergring (Germany, 12,5km) - results
  • 02-01-2024: Fonteny (France, 25km) - results
For those unfamiliar with Fat-Alfie tracks, they have a great flow along with very different sectors, which makes it challenging to race, but also to strike a good balance between top speed and agility in your setup.

The tracks excel in great detail from a historical perspective, making it equally a pleasure to just drive without racing and look at the scenery.

Championship details (single class):

  • Cars:
  • Day: Tue, every two weeks
  • 60 min practice, 20 min qualify, 60 min race
  • Mandatory pitstop (at least 1 liter of fuel) except Bilster Berg.
  • Fuel usage 100%
  • Tyre wear 10%
  • Damage 10%
  • Best 5 races count for the standings
  • Practice server will be available during the week of the event.
  • Further details such as scoring rules and track conditions can be found on Emperor.
  • For each event, a thread will be posted as usual as a reminder and for the latest information.

Note - no time multiplier for this series - it's hard enough already!

Well done Mika, i have these skins but could not remember where from. Colin will find it useful, i am sure

This looks like a lot of fun. I think I will finally take the opportunity to do some club races again. I would love to sign up, but I don't have the password.

Welcome Chris, if you (or anyone else for that matter) want a taster for these cars then join us next Tue...

Han has cancelled Bilster Berg from his championship so we can either...

1) Cancel it
2) Race it and keep it in the championship
3) Race it but exclude it from the championship

What's the feeling?

The issue is that you might have a bad race due to the bugs and it would be unfair for it to count towards the championship. I'm inclined to go for 3) as it's a nice track.

I haven't raced with you guys for a while, but this sounds right up my alley! So I guess I need an account somewhere? (Emperor? Never met him mate!)

Welcome back, LarsThomas! You will get a PM with the credentials for Emperor in a couple of minutes.

Hi Jemima puddle duck,

You are very welcome!
I will create a Emperor account for you and send you the credentials and some other useful information in a PM.

One of the rules that you will find there is that for participating in our club races you need to enter your real name in your RDaccount/account details. There's a field called Real Name for that. It's for internal use only so we know who you are.

also roughly what time each Tuesday would these races be running?

  • 20:00 CEST, 19:00 BST (18:00 UTC) | 60 minutes - Official Practice
  • 21:05 CEST, 20:05 BST (19:05 UTC) | 20 minutes - Qualification
  • 21:30 CEST, 20:30 BST (19:30 UTC) | 60 minutes - Race
