I'm not sure why people don't complain about this stuff. Imagine being their neighbor and hearing music blasting and seeing flashing lights everywhere. Regardless, the lights work extremely well with the music, so kudos for that.
The guy that originally did this in Ohio ('Wizards of Winter' - the one in the Beer ads) eventually had to move his show to a local park. The noise isn't an issue - they usually use a low power FM transmitter like the remaining Drive-In theatres use so you pick it up on your car radio - the problem is the traffic that a show like this generates.
