This week Chris Haye digs deep into the wondrous workings of an evolving racing environment, as we build up to the third round of the SRO E-Sport GT Series AM Championship at the German Nurburgring circuit.
Driving a racing car in competition is more than just the art of driving a racing car in competition. Sounds silly doesn't it? But in reality, as in the virtual word, the physical aspect of handling your machine around the circuit faster than any other driver is only part of the challenge. As the quality of today's racing simulators draws increasingly close to the real life in which they attempt to mimic, virtual drivers have to contend with such real world variables as track progression, rubbering in racing lines (and the marbles that often follow hand-in-hand), an ever changing balance within the car, tyre wear, fuel usage, understeer, oversteer, weather and about a million other things that have to be filtered into the equation.

Thankfully, all the variables and more are covered in our latest Chris Haye deep dive video. Today, Mr. Haye takes us on a journey into the art of preparing for an evolving race environment, as we look at just some of the things our esport community drivers will have to consider ahead of the third round of our SRO E-Sport GT Series AM Championship race this Saturday 31st May at 18:00 UTC.
Don't forget folks, each race weekend we have outstanding prizes to give away to our viewers! This Saturday, we are offering an unforgettable two laps of the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit courtesy of our broadcast sponsors, Curbstone. To find out what is involved, and how you can be in with a shout at winning this incredible prize, check out the details on This Link.
