Hi Dominic, just a question...what's done to a track for a server race? After the race yesterday I went in the game and did the track and car again. I went 3 seconds faster and didn't come off the track once. Just curious the track felt completely different! GRIP......

Hi Bill;
Honestly, I'm not sure how to explain that since the track grip level on the server was also set to 'Optimum' or 100%. Perhaps you didn't have the correct setup loaded up, or maybe a case of racing online jitters was throwing you off.. :D

Gotchait was weird.....I wish I could race like that. This is the only kind of racing I've done that I'm not any good at. From slot cars to mx I've always run at the front. Wish I could figure it out. Thanks Dominic

Yeah I remember the races we did on rF2 with Denis you were always hanging with the pack just as fast as everyone else.
Hope you get it sorted out.

Slightly confused. I know in LA you are 8 hours behind the UK but when i googled the start time and coverted to GMT it came out totally different. Does anyone know the GMT start time please. I,m fine with it if around midnight but cant be doing 4am.
On a different note, UK comedy act 'the pub landlord' said, quote: it is only right that we British tell the rest of the world what time it is ;)

Race starts at 8:30pm UK time.
That is correct, UTC is the new GMT. Now they've made Greenwich Mean Time into Coordinated 'Universal' Time so you guys over on that island have been promoted. Pretty soon, we'll all be speaking English...

Practice starts at 7:30 'UK time'. let's see some lap times on the server! I'm curious to know how far off pace I am.:confused:

I guess thats fair for inventing the real time and maybe even an accurate clock! Yeah, universe sounds good to me.
Anyway, when i lived in the US someone said to me " i dont understand you, speak in english lie i does"

lol, and I bet English ppl love it when folks from the US, or any other country, tell them that they love their accent.

Well, i never complained when it was a pretty young lady saying it 25 years ago :thumbsup:
I just meant that I think it's funny when someone tells an English person that they like their accent, when technically you could say it's everyone else that has the accent :D

But we have around a dozen (12) different accents in the British islands alone
true, true... like in the US. who knows what the baseline accent for English is anymore I suppose.
and let's not even bring irish or scottish accents into the picture. remember this one (warning: f bombs):
