Cart Indy cart mod..

I been trying most of the afternoon trying to get this fantastic cart Indy car mod in the game ,here is the status,I watched a number of tutorials ,the video ,in the forums looking for my answer to no avail.I saved the file as directed ,I believe my problem is when I extract,I know the path..Program filesx 86-steam apps common file name of game -content etc. my question is where do I extract too,I got some things in the wrong place trying and decided to uninstall and re download,twice I have done that ,the 2nd time I went to the screen and I had two of the cart icons for the game but when I click it say unavailable,one remaining question ,when I extract do I extract the folder just the listings under the folder ,appreciate any help///UGH...
