We head Stateside for our latest race. Get to America, grab the cars and then head to the Southern hemisphere for a race around the modern Kyalami circuit in South Africa. A great, undulating circuit with some big braking zones and not much margin for error with some big kerbs, this could be a thrilling ride!

Eligibility: You must be a PREMIUM member. You must also use your REAL NAME on all RD servers and Discord, and include this in your forum profile. It is the only way of identifying who you are during an event.

Won't be able to make it for the next few months. I'm getting a new coaching degree and the lessons are on Monday evenings. I've got some free Mondays in a few weeks, so maybe I'll be able to drive then

I looked back at some old threads and found a race for this time last year with 28 sign ups. Let's tag everyone from that race and see if we can get the numbers back to those epic values!

Would love to join, but unfortunately it will be a couple of months before I can race again :(

Been struggling with an old sport injury for a while now :poop:

I'll be back to RF2 once sorted... #soon

Sorry boys I'm gonna pull out of this one
I'm not really liking this mod the FFB feels a bit funny to me

Anyone else think tje same
Just downloaded and certainly the handling seems a little iffy, something a little weird in the centre portion of the steering range and anything more than a small steering input provokes the back end to slide out even on high speed corners with high downforce

Yeah thats what I thought so easy to lose the back end

I think its more car related - it only happends in low speed entries, like T2 (Crowthorne), T10 (Leeukop) and the last turn (Ingwe). All low speed entries where the back end will come around if you brake too late. Gearing down hard under braking dosent seem to affect it, its only when it gets around 1st gear, like there's a massive engine braking going on.
Either way, hit your braking marks and DONT divebomb, then you'll be fine.

Reducing Diff Power and Diff Coast helped massively. I am sworking on the setup and I'l lmake sure everyone has my finished one when they join the server

@Jan Larsen's view of me losing the lead is absolutely hilarious :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Haha yeah, I must admit I did laugh when I saw that. I lost 4 tenths in that corner alone just from looking in awe at your wtf moment :D Shame though, could have been a nice battle race long :)

My race was rather lonely, I started to make mistakes near the end that allowed Steve K to close right up until he thankfully made a mistake a few laps from the end and from there I could cruise it home.

They took some getting used to these cars, but now they're just awesome! I think it was the rather crap default setup that caused most of the issues early on.
