Camera changes to another car

Whenever I play a race and use paddle shifters of G29, my camera changes to another car and I end up crashing. I have seen all the settings and even reset to default but its not working. How do I fix it?

Sounds like you have the paddles set to change camera. Go in the menu and unbind the camera controls and make sure your paddles are set to actually shift gears.

I checked the key bindings nothing was configured for the paddles expect the gears. I even checked the .txt files in the documents folder. There are no bindings.
