ButtKicker Gamer 2 Set Up

Hello everyone,
I've recently brought a ButtKicker Gamer 2. I've managed to get it setup and working with SimHub so that's a win for a relative noob to PC. When I test the ButtKicker after selecting channels it works and when I start racing it works. It does however appear to be a 'default' setting. When I select to use individual effects, nothing changes at all, it just continues in this 'default setting. Also when I test each individual effect I get no response. I'm using VoiceMeeter to separate outputs, Wireless USB headphones and a USB soundcard for the ButtKicker.
Where am I going wrong?
Also when I run ACC, the audio and ButtKicker work fine on the opening sequence but as soon as I get to the menu everything cuts out!!
Any help at all would be hugely appreciated
