the link to the template i hosted on my ftp doesn't work on RD.
it does if you copy & paste the url youself

other people mentioned it to me, so it's not only my browser
is it RD, or is it some third party popup protection ?

I am pretty sure it's your browser that doesn't like url's that aren't secure. The new standard is really https:// instead of http://

But I am not a techy so I hope that our wizards @Dave Stephenson or @Neilski can confirm this.

Seems I posses tech skills now lol. Change your links to https and they will work fine @Ben O'Bro
