I did a few practice laps around here last night. I just love the T1/T2 complex, especially the rounded curb faces that invite you to attack them rather than fear for your life. Why they ever changed the old Variante Rettifillio Ts 1-2 in to the worst T1 corner in racing is beyond understanding.

For some reason I managed to 'unwatch' this thread and missed your post.... I haven't actually tried this combo yet, but yeah, totally agree on the first chicane from when we have used it in other events. For some reason, I have it in the back of my mind that they did it for safety, but however that worked in real life, it doesn't seem to translate back to the sim racing

Hi,

I would like to join too. It will be my first time racing, so I’ll try my best to not hit you guys.
Hi! You are welcome to join, but we do ask that you put your real name in your profile first. Note that this is only visible to other premium members and staff here on RD.

You can do this via the following page https://www.racedepartment.com/account/account-details and looking for the 'Real Name' section.

Other than that please take a look at the club racing rules linked on the first post, paying specific attention to the golden rule.

It's helpful if you can join discord as we sometimes have to skip sessions or do other things, but it's not essential if you don't feel comfortable.
