The Race of a Thousand years was another of Don Panoz's ideas to have a cohesive racing series across the Globe, Starting with the ALMS (American Le Man Series), ELMS (European Le Man Series) and APLMS (Asia Pacific Le Man Series). Unfortunately after 1 season both the ELMS and APLMS did not attract enough interest and ultimately folded.
