A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Since we're just getting the beginning of a 2 day heavy snowstorm here making me home-bound, that should give me some time to practice. ;) So, please include me, Denis.

Anyone else getting snap oversteer in mid-corner when up-shifting with the default set up for this car? I don't know if it's the setup or the fact that I'm just getting used to the feel of my new wheel. Anyone have any tips on how to dial it out and/or care to share a stable set-up?

And what kind of lap times are you guys getting with this car/track combo? I need to know how far out of the running I'll be! :D

Thanks!

This sounds like a real challenge, let mt try this one, in please
I had no idea rF2 can simulate space ships :roflmao:. I am in please.

Good to have you back Denis.

Welcome guys. :)
@newbert are you using paddles/sequential? This would mean not lifting the gas pedal for the upshift? I guess you're shocking the tyres. Try lifting a little during the upshift. The car has lots of horses and old(ish) tyres/suspesion, so it'll want to break trction with full gas , mid corner.
BTW, we don't discuss lap times in event threads, sorry. It's so that people don't become discouraged if they read that they are off the pace.

It’s the car; you need to ease off the gas when changing gear! Lifting off the throttle helps.
