No active steering and it's only facelifted e46 chassis.:crying: With M-Sport II package it has maybe the fastest steering response than I've seen in ordinary unmodified family car. Well my friend's e90 325i with M-sport package feels even better.

Lol I know the e46 has a super steering I think it's about 13:1 but the E90 of my brother has one of more than 16:1 without sport package.

sorry to interrupt your discussion. but! arent all bmw steerings all so heavy and unuser friendly.? but they say it gives feeling to the road. depens on what you mean by truck-like handling.:honk:

I think it's a bit biased there Kevin.

I drive a 320d E46 with m kit // all around (springs, shocks, steering, gearstick, rims, bodykit,...) all factory made.
And going into a corner 30km/hour faster than all the others i know racing their cars while heering no slipsounds, makes me sure my car is'nt steering like a truck.

But you're wright about the mini. It is a cart, i had one as a replace car when my e46 was fixed and they drive insane. It was the smallest engine one but i still was driving around with a smile on my face.

And my dad has the new 325D coupé. He has it chipped and is now running somewhere around 230 hp. The car has mighty acceleration but the steering is sooo nose heavy. I don't like it, you have the feeling that you can have alot off understeer if you push it to much into a corner..

btw here's some pics off my honey! I have her for 3 years know and i still love her...

And i'm fixing up this little IS for the future weekends...

I had an old 320i E30 of 1988 (130bhp) and now I possess a 323i e36 (170 bhp). I would have liked a lot having a M3 e30 .

I know Grégory. But the M3 E30 costs around 17000 Euros in decent shape. Parts are too expensive. So i settled myself with the "baby" M3 off that time. The e30 318IS. It came from Barcelona and tx to no salt on the road during winter there she is totally rustfree.
She needs a total repaint though in red. Some minor stuff too.
