ACC Blancpain GT @ Nürburgring - Tue 1st Oct 2019

Assetto Corsa Competizione Racing Club event
1.jpg

As autumn settles in, so do the clouds... it becomes crucial to make the right move with regards to tyre call, and then cross fingers as hard as possible! Hoping that Kunos, the God of Weather, is more merciful this time around, we should have a proper race where cars will be faster than kite-surfs, and where you have a chance to redefine the notion of "Turn 1 hero" - the one who makes the corner fastest and cleanest under the rain ;)

We support good hard racing and just ask you to respect track limits, basic racing etiquette and most importantly, each other.

If you need any help don't hesitate to ask on TeamSpeak... there's no such thing as a stupid question, and others will also benefit and learn something new :)

MANDATORY PIT-STOP
This feature is not fully supported yet; we will try once again... and see how it goes. We will be trying different scenarios for each race, to assess how everything develops. :) The same settings will stay for this race:

Mandatory number of pit-stops: One (1)
Pit window: 10 minutes
Pit window time in race: from 30 minutes left to 20 minutes left
Driver stint limit: None
Refuelling: Not allowed
Tyre change: Mandatory
Driver-swap: No

Make sure you have your controls fully set up in order to use the pit menu if necessary, and plan the pit-stop in the strategy menu of the Setup page in game, in order to minimise the number of buttons to press when driving.

Also, test pitstops during practice (or even offline) to get comfortable with the procedure

Sign me up Daniel please :)

You're both in, guys :)

Mike, have a read through the rules, and if there is anything you don't understand or are unsure of, just ask here, and we'll help you out

We will be testing the pit-stop for changing tyres during the race, so make sure you are familiar with the procedure (do some test pit-stops offline) and make sure you have all the necessary keys bound (mainly the "cycle HUD MFD" key and the HUD arrows)

If you are not an expert in setting up a car, @Trebucht has made a nice video giving various tips on what to do:

CUSTOM LIVERIES

Since we can, we will once again allow the use custom liveries for this event :) This is still not a fully supported feature, but it has worked in previous events so we are trying it again. This is not mandatory, you can still drive with any of the game's liveries. :)

So, if you want a custom livery for this event, I would need to have your Steam64 ID (if you want to keep it private you can send it via PM). Then follow the instructions and sign up with the information requested on the button below:

There are different livery designs for each car; choose which colour you want on the White (1), Red (2) and Blue (3) areas (see templates here).

For the rims, there are two colours to use; choose which colour you want on the Black (4) and the White (5) areas, for the main spokes and the outer ring respectively (see templates below).

Finally, choose your sponsor, number, and paste the completed list below when you sign up:

SteamID:
Car livery:
Number: <1-998>
Color (1):
Color (2):
Color (3):
Rim (4):
