Best mods for rF1?

That will be quite subjective. I have rfactor solely for open wheel racing, everything from Formula Vee to F1, from the thirties to the present.

A favorite is the old VSC mod (Vintage Sprint Cars) from Bill Guillaume - front engine, rear drive, Indy style roadsters of the late fifties/early sixties, some powered by Chevy V8s, some by supercharged Offy 4-bangers, all around 500hp. Two physics - one for road courses, with symmetric suspension and 4-spd gearbox, the other for ovals, with asymmetric suspension and "in-and-out" boxes.

I wouldn't dare speak for the community but some of my favorite rF mods are:
  • CART Factor by Racing Line Developments
  • F1 1951 by ORM
  • F1 1958 by ORM (plus FDsign's matching Spa58 track)
  • Formula One 1965 by CROMS (including the track pack)
  • DRM Revival
  • Grand Touring Group 5 by CMH
  • Endurance Series by EnduRacers Modding Team
  • Historic GT & Touring Cars v1.96 by HistorX
  • V8Factor by Team ORSM (plus their Bathurst track)
  • All the Virtua_LM tracks
  • Laguna Seca (conversion by *Com8*)
  • Longford 1967 by woochoo
  • Nordschleife 2007 2.2a by Team rF-Nordschleife.de
  • Targa Florio (GPL conversion)

That is one of my favorite mods for rF1.
Also - Stockcar Evolution and Bathurst Legends, BorekS mods (F1 Legends Racing & Le Mans Classics)

Tracks - all Virtua_LM tracks, Spa'58, Targa, Nordschleife (of course),
from the ovals - Auto club Speedway (Fontana)
and some oddball tracks like Nardo ring, OmWeg and High Speed Ring.

I have culled 100GB's of old gmotor mods this is what I kept:
All this content is packed to use with GME's

Of course Vintage Sprint Cars survived ;)

rFactor

GTL

GTR2
wow can this list for all 3 be found on classicmotorsporthub? it's a huge directory for sims like GTR2, rFactor, GP4, GPL, and AMS 1.

Google is your friend :)
I never heard of that site though.

My mods can be cut down, altered, sometimes pulled apart into separate pieces so they no good to share.

I figured since some mods are a whole entire executable like the 2007 F1 season mod or cart factor as well. I recommend that website btw if you're ever curious what's out there for rFactor or any other sim.

I just tried the endurance series mod from the enduracers team. Wow this is better than the variant out there for GTR2. I'm blown away how fun this mod is I just need a good track pack for my ALMS sim season.
