Welcome to the OT Racing Club.

There is no race next week but I'll set up the race for the following week so you have time to practice.

This week we're off to the free flowing Kunos Highlands track - another circuit that suits the power of the Tornado. Also good practice for Brian's Ginetta race the following Sunday.

There are also two excellent skin packs.

First of all sorry to Richard for being victim of my off lap 1 race 2. I think mistake was not done because of the spinning car in front but I was too far right as I had no room on the left and then got understeer into the rail guard.
Was good racing as laptimes were pretty close. Didn't do any training and was off couple seconds 15 minutes to qualy, even considered to not attend but could improve quickly to a decent pace. Had bad stuttering in VR when cars were close in front of me that's why I got into the pits early in race 2 behind Hank and Allan as framerate was so bad.

thx for organizing and cu.

Well after three years racing here I've finally managed to win a race!
Well done on your maiden win Colin, now you know how to do it there will be no stopping you!

I was well off the pace in both races, I think some of it might be set up but mostly lines and technique as I like the car but just cannot get anywhere near you guys. I was slow at the start of race 2 and had a small contact with Allan going into the fast righthander before the straight which sent me spinning into the barrier. I lost the will to carry on as there was no point being 2 seconds a lap slower.:( Back to the drawing board!
Well done podiums and thanks for setting this up Colin.

I sort of like this car, but it is so frustrating, I followed Thomas for some of the race, sometimes gaining, sometimes loosing because of silly mistakes, with Thomas doing like wise but somewhat better than me. But every time we got to the village I lost 1 second every lap with bleeding braking, not always but usually a second or more.
That meant in two laps, two seconds down, three in three laps, which inevitably made me try harder which meant more mistakes.. in the end this car this track made it pointless.

Thanks to Richard i was finally able to get my tyres working properly and almost on the pace.
My 1st race i was so busy talking about the tyres i forgot to add fuel for the race BUT my pit stop gave me 1 ltr as it should.....My fault.... Second race.....fueled up, checked my pit fuel in setup, started race with enough pace to stay out front. Pitted after 5 laps, no fuel!!!! Frustrated? no. Angry? yes. I do not know what the issue is with my unreliable pit fuel but it has spoiled some really good racing for me over the last couple of months with this car. I do like the car and will continue to race it as i dont think it is the problem. Really pissed off to be honest and will not be doing the 30 min race with pit stop any more. What is the point if i cant get reliable fuel? I do this for fun after all and i,m not getting any.
End of rant!

Did we hit @Shed 17,i know it was close but i thought u lost it on the verge..Damn i would have waited if i had known. 😲 :cry://
No problem Allan, it was the slightest of touches as I turned in, your left front contacted my right rear and was just enough to push me over into the barrier. I was so slow you would have got me on the next straight as would have the rest of the field so no worries mate.
Like some other comments here, I like the car but it is frustrating, some weeks I’m on it but most of the time I’m struggling. It feels like I have got the original version of the car, is that possible?

There is a checksum on the server so I'm afraid you have the same car :)

My 'secret' here was just lots of practice and maybe a similar tyre pressure to Richard. Setup was the same I always use the one Jason posted a few races ago.

I personally feel a pitstop adds a bit of strategy to the race - it was key to me getting ahead of Allan and Hank. It's a real shame Steve can't sort out the bug with his car.

Anyway, we'll try the Jide for a few races and see how we get on. It's had rave reviews online so I'm interested to see what we think of it. I've picked the Brands Indy course as it a quick lap so should lead to some close racing. Give it a go and let me know what you think of the combo - suggest more circuits you think might suit it.

I dont think the bug is in the car. I think it is in my system, it is random which makes it worse. I,m predicting the same issue with the Jide if we are pitting. Weird how it does not play up in 1 hour races with pitstop.

Have you tried to race with the vanilla AC, that should hopefully take care of the umpteen CM setting.
Although I think CM setting can still effect it, so best do a steam check on AC before the event.
I am assuming it does not happen in a AC AI race.

Wise man once said...nothing, and then added "Even a four year old little girl can do 30 minutes race without pitting..."

Vanilla AC will not work if you have a lot of mods which I have. Have done a steam file check before and in the past an Ai race. I think it is just online. It's fine if the race is longer and take fuel and tyres. Every time I take 1 ltr only i have no confidence it will work. It shows 1 ltr when I close the setup menu and yes after the first race i make sure it's there. When I then pit there is zero fuel there. Maybe i can run with the pit window open to see what happens. Doing my effin head in
