AVUS 1988-1991 - AVUS circa 1989-1991, mod by jpalesi

By the 1980s, the crazy banked curve at AVUS was gone, and the infamous long straights were gradually being shortened. But lots of great motorsport remained at AVUS, involving many wonderful machines like Formula Three and DTM Group A touring cars!

Very little footage of this track has survived on YouTube, but here's a 1990 German Formula Three race at this version of AVUS featuring a young Michael Schumacher!

No, I don't play AC and have never modded the game, but someone else surely could.

There's an even longer straight on the 1988 track layout in the original version of this mod, but I haven't been able to find it, sadly. Although some folks found, converted, and upgraded it to create a 1980 AVUS mod for Automobilista 1 for a league.
