Automobilista - Talent Files not working

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to this game and have already downloaded some mods I'd like to play, one of them is the F1 2018 mod.
So right now all AI lap within a second and the grid is completely random, Hartley in the Torro Rosso is first, while Vettel is last for example.
I would like to spread out the field more and change their behaviour and basically let the top teams finish in front of the weaker ones. I know this is done with talent files.

F1 2018 already has talent files but adjusting them doesn't seem to make any difference ingame. In my srs file of the mod i have this:
ConfigOverrides
{
DriversDir=GAMEDATA\TALENT\F1-2018\
MusicDir=MUSIC\WCP-18\
}

F1-2018 is where my talent files are, so i guess they are linked just fine.
I also tried renaming the talent files but it didn't seem to make a difference.
They look like this:

Brendon Hartley
{

// Driver stats
Aggression=85
Reputation=95
Courtesy=55
Composure=95
Speed=60
Crash=10
Recovery=5
TireManagement=50
StartSkill=75
CompletedLaps=95
MinRacingSkill=90
}

Is there something else i need to add or check? Just don't know how to get it working. Any help appreciated.

The name used in the veh files must be identical to the names used in your talent folder. These files can be found in your mod folder in Gamedata/vehicles/YOURMODFOLDERNAME - be it, WCP 2018 for example or whatever, whatever.

my veh file is BHartley_STR13, inside it says driver name: Brendon Hartley
In my talent file i also have Brendon Hartley
I also tried renaming them to the name of the veh.file but it didn't change anything

Sorry for asking again, but I shall do the following? (Changes in red characters):

Example is for a mod for F_V12

RCD File: MichaelSchumacher.rcd

MichaelSchumacher
{

// Driver stats
Aggression=100
Reputation=100
Courtesy=78
Composure=92
Speed=100
Crash=1
Recovery=5
CompletedLaps=96
MinRacingSkill=99
}

Veh File: Mild Seven1.veh

That is how the talent file starts working?

You should have no space in the file name but you should have one inside the .rcd file. You must also have the same name inside the .veh file!
MichaelSchumacher.rcd > inside .rcd file: Michael Schumacher
Inside .veh file:
Driver="Michael Schumacher"
All 3 must correspond.

Yeah, I see. That is how my veh and rcd files look like originally, but it just does not seem to have any effect on the race. So I tried to change it the way Dethrone1427 advised it above. With no effect, too. But thanks anyway.

Well, have a look at the original cars: that's the way it is done for them. No space for the .rcd name, space inside the files.
Have a look at the corresponding .srs file: I'm away so I cannot check but I think you can have a reference to the talent folder.
Also make sure that you're drivers are unique: if you have an another serie with a Michael Schumacher, it might interfere.
