It is not as clean as @FeltHat captured, but should do for now. I watched the replay as a CS camper, waiting for this moment with my finger on F12 lol

I love this thunder effect on AMS2... I only race on clear skies or thunderstorm.

FYI the Sun elevation and azimuth angles seem to be a little bit off from the real world. I used The Photographer’s Ephemeris app to see what position the Sun would be in at Virginia and Ibarra for a couple of date/time combinations available in the game. The results were very much “in the ball park” but not what I would consider close enough to be a match if you’re hoping to line things up in a specific manner.

This is in no way a complaint. I’m not expecting a full-fledged planetarium program in AMS2. I just wanted to report my findings in case anybody else had the idea of “planning” a screenshot using a tool for the real world. Maybe this info can save you a bit of time or help to set expectations.

SOL 1.51, plus shaders patch. If you aware of those. Assetto Corsa in 2020 is like a new game in itself......

I'll be honest...is this not just a slightly worse PCars 2 photo thread?

Don't get me wrong, i own AM2 and i like the way it runs and FFB..but it is obviously a slightly degraded PCars 2 in the looks department... I don't see how that can be argued against...

I would go as far to say even pCars 1 shots
Compare headlights turned off in pCars and this
For mine it is 1/2 less cartoon then rfactor2

Lucky for me graphics are secondary to physics
Still waiting for seasoned rF2 runner say this feels better and I will buy it
