For a week, I have been having issues with my Onboard LAN card; I think my LAN is gone for good.
I have disabled and enabled, uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled the drivers, cleared the RTC RAM, and, it still treats the port as if a network cable is unplugged.
I would ping my loopback or try ipconfig on the Windows 7 console, but, it would not change anything.
I might stop by Wal-Mart and find a Linksys USB Wireless Access Point Adapter at least till I find a 1000Mbps NIC.
Anyone encountered this issue before?
EDIT - Please lock this thread because clumsiness runs very strong on both sides of my family, and, my father does not bother watching his step like I do because we have no other choice but to put a wire on the floor that connects to the router in the master bedroom and my computer in another room.
In other words, the cable from the router end was unplugged because my father somewhat took the wire out after he almost tripped.
Sorry for this inconvenience.
