Kunos Simulazioni have released a number of preview images for the upcoming laser scanned RedBull Ring circuit in Austria.
Scene of the recent controversial Austrian Grand Prix, the RedBull Ring is a premium Grand Prix venue under the control of RedBull owner Dietrich Mateschitz. Built to Grand Prix standards in 1996 as a direct response to the sun setting of legendary Formula One venue the Österreichring, the new RedBull Ring (or A1 Ring as it was previously known) has played host to 9 Grand Prix in modern times, retaking a place on the Formula One calendar in 2014 after a 11 year absence prior to the takeover by Mateschitz in 2007.
Kunos have meticulously recreated the popular venue with the aid of laserscan technology and the attention to detail are there for all to see on the attached screenshots. Due to form part of the Assetto Corsa 'Red Pack' DLC released on July 14th, the RedBull Ring circuit will be the first official real world circuit brought to the game since Brands Hatch made its bow back in December as part of the very popular 'Dream Pack 3' DLC.
