Q: When can players expect the free 2019 update?
A: Our production team is already working on it and the release has been scheduled after Summer 2019.

Q: Does Assetto Corsa Competizione offer triple monitor support?
A: Assetto Corsa Competizione runs on triple screen setups as a single render scene, that is split over three displays. The game features a special projection correction that reduces the lateral distortion that might affect ultrawide screens and triple monitor setups. (It's called Pannini Projection in honor of the ITALIAN painter who invented it in the 18th century - because Italians do it better). This feature can be set in-game in the "view settings" option. We appreciate that some users are requesting three separate renderings in order to tune bezel values and screen angles. Currently, Unreal Engine 4 doesn't support this feature. We'll continue to investigate to see if in future the triple-separate rendering will be supported in a feasible way.

Q: Will I ever be able to mod Assetto Corsa Competizione?
A: Being developed with UE4, Assetto Corsa Competizione processes data and assets through a completely different structure and file format than the previous Assetto Corsa. Therefore, the game will not be compatible with mod contents created for Assetto Corsa.

Q: Which tracks are available in Assetto Corsa Competizione?
A: A list of all the official circuits included in the Blancpain GT Series calendar are available at this URL: https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/calendar. This also includes also Zolder as part of the 2018 Season.

Q: How does multiplayer work in Assetto Corsa Competizione?
A: Assetto Corsa Competizione offers three types of Multiplayer action:
In the Public Multiplayer, you can join servers run by the community or official Kunos servers. They offer a vast amount of combinations regarding tracks, conditions and race events similar to the Assetto Corsa 1 universe.

To quickly find servers that suit your preferences and skills, you can either use the Quick Join functionality, or select one of the best matches in the highly personalized server list. To improve your experience, you can edit your preferences, so the suggestions may offer you more night or rain races; or add weight to latency or specific tracks.

While the Public Multiplayer will run casual and quick paced races, advanced users may want to use the Competition Servers. They are offer a competitive experience with very serious settings and hour-long races. The corresponding Competition Rating will track your progress and define the Splits in which you can compete on those servers. The requirements are high, so make sure you get an overview about the Ratings in the Main Menu/Driver/Ratings page.

The third section is the support of private leagues. They run their own race organization and series, which for example allows the use of Driver Swaps and adjusted rules. Additionally, we are looking into possibilities to allow leagues to run more than the 30 cars, and offer them the data output and Race Direction tools they need.

Q: Does Assetto Corsa Competizione have anything in place to ensure clean racing online?
A: The most important part in the comprehensive Rating system is the "Safety Rating (SA)" component. Once unlocked, it will track the virtual Trust and Incidents both in Multiplayer and AI races. Public Servers are set up with different SA requirements, offering different levels of protected racing. Additionally, the Competition Servers run very high SA requirements. To enjoy clean racing in Multiplayer, make sure to keep an eye on your Ratings in the Main Menu/Driver/Ratings page and maximize your Safety Rating.

Q: How many players does Assetto Corsa Competizione support?
A: Players can compete against other 30 opponents in single and multiplayer.

Q: What are the minimum system requirements in order to run Assetto Corsa Competizione?
A: The most updated version of minimum and recommended hardware requirements is available at the URL https://store.steampowered.com/app/805550/Assetto_Corsa_Competizione/ in the system requirements section.

Q: What are the recommended system requirements in order to run Assetto Corsa Competizione?

A: The most updated version of minimum and recommended hardware requirements is available at the URL https://store.steampowered.com/app/805550/Assetto_Corsa_Competizione/ in the system requirements section.

Q: Does Assetto Corsa Competizione take advantage of NVIDIA RTX?
A: Currently, Assetto Corsa Competizione does not support ray tracing yet. We continue to work closely with Epic Games and NVIDIA on integration of new technologies to Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Q: What resolutions and FPS will Assetto Corsa Competizione run at?
A: Resolution and number of frames depend by your hardware requirements. Assetto Corsa Competizione can match the same resolution recognized by your Operative system, and you can decide to cap the number of visible frames per second. We haven't set any limit on this.

Q: Where can I find support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Where can I submit bugs?
A: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum
Please use the proper forum sections and in case of bug submission, zip and attach the whole "Logs" folder located in your "C:\users*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved" folder (the "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties). This is what i call the worst 1.0 release ever and VR is just a no-go at this point. They went from 0.7 back to 0.3 from the performance and it runs horrendous. But even without VR most people are very pissed from this release for countless reasons. I had no problems with the pCars 2 release some while ago and it got dissed here for minor issues. I hope those people do the same with this worst release of all times accordingly!
u never ever had played WOW on a release day i guess xD

I think that Kunos themselves appreciated their release with this my screenshot. My biggest claim to performance and controllability cars. Attempts to cope with the AMG constantly led to the flight to the bump stop. Cars slide in the most unexpected situations and this is with the included assistants, getting on the kerbs is fatal. FFB feels high-level forever. The new content is impressive, but all this is ruined by a vague release after the seemingly long early access. Price in Steam on the day of release says a lot.

I'm enjoying the initial release apart from having my engine starting on it's own, and the fact that my pitcrew has buggered off..:O_o:

Agreed on the FFB. It's is super confusing how there is no real que that you are losing grip intil it is too late. Also I am not sure what is going on with the kerbs, but there are times were a single tire on a kerb can cause my car to completely freak and spin. This was my experience during EA as well.

For cars designed for rich old men to race I really find these the most difficult GT3 cars I have ever driven. IMO the physics and FFB make zero sense, and I think it also says something when even Nicki Thiim struggles to get a single clean lap in.
I'm having no problems with curbs since 0.7 and maybe part of the trick was to choose the safe setup and tweak it for oversteer than the aggressive. I guess the driving height is too low and you bottom out over curbs.

Damn, just watched the Nicki Thiim stream. That was rough.

(But probably the best part is watching him drive and set up his literal IRL car while people give him advice on what he should or shouldn't do and how to drive or how not to drive. With people advising completely opposite things quite often as well ;) )

I think I may be in the minority here but I've really really enjoyed ACC and obviously was excited for version 1............................and I'm even more excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's wonderful. Few little niggles but omg the driving is fantastic. Graphics are better after some tweaking and I get 97 on hotlap, about 80 to 90 with 20AI and the wet I was expecting a big drop but no, still about 80. Cpu is running at 80-84 celcius with 65-67 consumption. Gpu is 99% and 71 Celsius. Paul Ricard blue stuff has calmed down a lot and spa looks amazing! My favourite car is the nsx so far but I'm struggling with the porsche. My specs are Acer predator 34p monitor at 3440x1440, I7-6700K - 1080ti graphics card. I run mainly high and epic with 110 resolution. Tried 120 but just lose too much. Mirrors res is mid. Overall I'm well happy.

The FFB is ok if you turn that awful dampening off in the game settings. Also try to tune the graphics for stable high FPS, so you can disable vsync without to much tearing.

The input lag gets much better without dampening and vsync. You can even catch slides now. Not perfect, but enjoyable.

He crashed quite a few BMW GT3 cars before in iRacing practise to be fair and it was the Z4, because that's the only one they offer:whistling: Also choosing the aggressive setup made thinks worse.

For people with performance issues you may want to remove ACC and all associated folder from documents and such and do a clean instal of it. We have been here before with one of the early access releases, something in the original ea settings conflicts with the new release maybe.

There’s also new Game Ready Nvidia drivers for ACC
I'm already running 430.86 and I completely removed the document and data folders before updating. Still I got a pretty harsh drop of fps, I did run a view laps immediatly before the update dropped and directly after, so the memory was fresh. Compared to the settings before I have to turn down the graphical options quite a bit. So at least some of us got hit with a performance problem, still investigating what's going on, of course it may be limited to some hardware combinations, but sadly it is out there.

this doesn't quite answer the question :)

Yeps, answered like a true politician, classic! it was hardly ever going to support mods anyway...

Just had my first multiplayer racing via the 1 click button. Had a guy waiting 1 lap and ramming me right away, lovely experience!
So that was you stooging along in 2nd gear at maggots ? What’s with the brake testing and ignoring blues ? Wasn’t deliberate ,you where just driving 70 kms slower , don’t know how to text in game but was going to apologise but once you raged l thought bugger it and went on to stick it on pole .. If it wasn’t you l apologise, it certainly wasn’t deliberate just massive closing speed ...

Q: What time is it?
A: Sunday
Thank you! I needed a good laugh :D

Any guesses on players count few weeks from now?
This is a niche game for a (very vocal) niche audience who have plenty of other products to cater to their needs. It is not going to be impressive.
Personally, I absolutely love it, every single aspect of it, but even as a chap who follows the Blancpain races and who has been playing racing sims for over 15 years, the detailled reproduction of the real series will probably be beyond how far I want to get into it (do I use the used set of tires from q1 or not when I pit in lap xy?). Overall, having bought this months ago for 25 Euros, easily the bargain of the year.

from a little test so far (on Brands Hatch)

- Dumb bumping AI seems to be solved (at least at Brands)
- no more vignette on nearby camera
- keybinding on keyboard and pad still not solved
- visually the 4.22 UE upgrade looks worst on lights effects. From 0.1 to 0.6, for me, it looks more vibrant and dinamic, meanwhile with 1.0 it looks more static. Even undercar shadows lod became worst, sometimes disappears from cars (all settings on High/Ultra), wich never happens with previous EA version. But i need to test more on Nurb and Misano (and Monza) for better visual refecences.

Mass Effect: Andromeda The Sim

I feel a bit sorry for Kunos because there's no doubt they have been at war with the game engine they chose. I'd imagine they are mentally and physically frazzled and I've no doubt they have thrown everything at this game to get it right, and will continue to do so. They must have put thousands of man hours into battling basic performance and stability issues, at the cost of refining other areas for a full release and it shows.

But I also feel sorry for the hundreds of people like me who were looking forward to not only to a new sim, but a change in tone with a great licence and a focused experience. I'm not bothered about the money, £25/£35 in sim racing is neither here nor there, but I would have like to have received something more playable. For many with a single screen solution, especially 1440p and above you have something workable, in some areas it excels, but like many I'm tipples or VR, and I have a product that currently offers little to no value or pleasure. It's a technical car crash, impossible to gloss over that nor, for me at least, see beyond it. It will be a respectful delete from hard drive for me, and perhaps return if they pull off some post launch miracles. The issues appear so systemic I won't be holding my breath.

Here's hoping they can prove me wrong and I'll return to an entirely different experience but it would seem foolish to put anymore time into this in its current state when I've a library of sims that are just sit in my rig and enjoy, including their previous work.

Take a break from crunch Kunos. Clear your heads. Step back after any critical maintenance and give yourselves time to think, the game is out now. Reflect and in due course release a new statement/roadmap in which everyone will respect some honesty as to what is possible moving forward, and go again. Besides everyone after all loves a comeback story.

Agree , who the hell drives with that much dampening, just made it so dull and lifeless, it’s not rf2 but it’s way better than AC
