I have just seen this interesting tweet from Stefano on Twitter:

I guess we are talking apps for mobile devices here? Does this mean we can also build our own Android and iOS apps as well in the near future?

Nope, we are talking apps inside Assetto Corsa. Things like timings, real time data telemetries of various aspects of the physics... things like that. We call them "apps" too.

Well they said that is will be possible and actually showed some early apps in some videos so this will really cool. As Aris stated it has nothing to do with the phyton support...
You will be limited with whatever platform you develop the app for, language wise....

Telemetry, lap times, those "GPS" kind maps where all the cars are... endless possibilities I reckon
