Artists/bands with talent!

As I'm building on my ever-growing music collection, I'd like to be introduced to some new music by talented people and groups, preferably music not well known to the public. What I'm looking for specifically is:

- Very/relatively unknown bands which deserve more attention
- Bands that have unique and/or catchy albums and songs with proper lyrics
- No computer generated ''music'' like trance, techno, dubstep..

The genres that appeal to me most are: Ska, Ska-Punk, Punk, Punk-Rock, Reggae-Rock, Indie-Rock, Folk-Rock and Celtic-Rock.

Some examples of what I really like are included below. (Maybe you will recognize a band)
Go right ahead and dig into your music collection and see what you could recommend!
It would be great to expand my knowledge about music in this way!

I was going to suggest Arcade Fire, but I'm not sure if they really fit under the banner of "relatively unknown"... But most of what I've heard from them is worth a listen anyway!
