Anyways to improve FPS?

My System:
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z590 Gaming Plus, BIOS: 7D07 VA2
VGA: NVidia GTX 1050Ti
PSU: Corsair RM750x
CPU: Intel? Core i5-11600K
MEM: 2x8GB, 3600MHz G.Skill Ripjaw F4-3600C16D-16GVK
HDD/SSD: Corsair MP600 PCIe Gen 4 M.2(OS on this), 1x Samsung Evo 850 1TB, Western Digital Blue WD2001FASS 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
OS: Windows 10 64bit Home
I did use the 4 GB patch. Most issues are with 1967 F1 cars.
Single cars runs at like 200-300, but on F1 cars down to 90 or so at start, but it seems sluggish even at 90FPS.
Running at 1680 x 1050 with everything stock on Nvidia Control Panel.
Any suggestions ?

Hi.

What speed is CPU running at. Perhaps a small overclock would help. Not sure what's std for that cpu.

Otherwise everything else seems fine except your running the Same GFX cardiac me and I'm thinking it's the GPU that's holding things back a bit.

I'm not a guru, so only trying to help.

If you can get 200-300fps with normal cars then the problem is with the mod and there's not really a way to fix that

And 90fps should not feel sluggish. That suggests something like frame time inconsistency and microstutters. Again, pointing back to a poorly optimized mod.

Set affinity to all cpu cores

90 is good at start of race, system is having to draw all cars, scenery, etc., plus compute all physics and driver files. Once cars are spread out about half this load is removed.

Turn off all trackside animations, you'll never notice them and it makes a big difference in frame rates. Also try disabling Vsync.

Here are some recommendations from the P&G mod. Your system should be well above what they reference here, but it couldn't hurt to try some of these.
