looking to purchase some sort of rig, I’m in the UK and have looked at gt1 evo, track racer etc ....

build one yourself by sourcing your own aluminium profile, they list all the parts required on their website.
Or there’s tutorials on YouTube on how to build 8020 rigs very similar to the sim labs designs.
The benefits of sim lab is you get an all in one kit, that’s tried and tested and obviously works for a lot of people, but at the moment out of stock.
if you fancy a bit of a project spec one yourself and build it, it’s cheaper and you need to do a bit of work though

I could share my rig specs with you, going to upload the video instructions to YT at some point too.
It's dead easy and at least I made a few mistakes on the way that you won't have to.

I managed to pick up a Sparco seat for like RM500, about 90 quid

The profile was quite cheap as I sourced it from a local supplier.

30 t-slot M8 nuts and 8 rubber mounts used as feet

Hi George I managed to build one myself so its pretty easy, simracingcorner has some yt videos showing you how to design it.

Only thing is you might struggle getting the profiles with the current situation
