I was away from the sim thing for most the summer , and the mod came out during that time , but it seemed to of just disappeared. Most all the info I could dig up were old , non-functional DL links to Tinshed and Xtremefactor....but to no avail. Not sure if the mod broke some rules , or the creators just decided to stop sharing it or what? I'd like to get my hands on this great mod , as it looks incredible. Can someone share a link with me here , or possibly send me a message? Would be very much appreciated!

I had no problem downloading this great mod and works fine, just a few pics.

I did end up finding this last night. I DL'd it just to check it out. I'm not sure if I'll keep it as of yet. The zip file is around 5.3gb's , which is huge , but it unzips to a whopping 11gb's. There is definitely a crazy amount of content in there. It would probably take a year just to drive and test all the cars in that mod , pretty crazy.

It does seem a little buggy , but that may be because I have other mods in that specific version of AMS. I had a few weird game crashes , and my steering wheel go nuts. Honestly , I'm not sure I'll keep it , as there are a lot of better modded cars out there and they are not up to anything like the Reiza standards. ( just my opinion )

I'm one of the authors of the original Historic GT & TC mod (known as HistorX by most).

This Automobilista mod is a RIP, and as such is a total shame and disrespects 7 years of work we invested on its creation, and also disrespects Simbin's work and their will. They (Simbin) released an statement not long after we released our version for rFactor 1 saying they didn't allowed further conversions of their content to other racing platforms.

So... things like this is what makes people like us to not invest one more minute on creating content for free for others.

Regards

All problems would be solved if SimBin or someone else released a GTL 2. In the meantime, the HistoriX mod for rFactor was the only reason I kept rFactor installed on my machine for many years. I am sorry, but I have converted it myself to AMS because AMS is the only ISI-based sim that I still use. The mod is such good quality that I respect the 7 years of work and SimBin's original by continuing to us it.

I own 3 copies of GTL. I own rFactor, 2 copies of rFactor2 and I own AMS. I would gladly pay for a properly converted DLC of HistoriX for AMS. I would gladly pay for GTL 2. Since I have none of these options, I will use the conversion in AMS. This should be considered the ultimate sign of respect that the mod is still worthy of use despite the newer mods and titles that have succeeded it. At least I consider it such.

There wasn't a plan to bring it to AMS?
A proper port with a donate button and I am in!
