A little bit of "what if" this Friday. Of all the tracks that was used in the DTM/ITC in the 90's, there was one that everyone probably imagined would be there... But never was. The Österreichring. That's what's so great with simracing, we can create alternative history! That is exactly what we are doing this Friday!

SERVER UP!

Can we post somewhere just the actual track? Please.

Can give it a shot. There is no single rfcmp file for the tracks. It's just one big file and that's it.
However: https://mega.nz/file/KdkVQKoA#F4LBNSzljzn9Z5KBBAyddGuq5nT5nfD8dh-2SkARjoo
Unzip and place under: steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Locations\

So it reads: steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Locations\F1 1986 Tracks\2.0876 with "F1_1986_Spielberg" in it.

I have no idea if it works. I tried to do that on the server, but didn't work here. ( I have done that solution before on content that's been hard to get to install the "right way").

Why not just point to the 1986 track pack on the Workshop. These tracks are all being updated, or have been sorted already. It is a large pack, but is a once-and-done affair.

BTW. If you go on the grass on the right side of what currently is T3, it teleports you to the pits.

I thought I had gone off on all places it would be possible to go off. Exactly where did it happen?

The OP does :)
The layouts of the 86-pack may not be the most correct for all of the tracks, seeing how they are mainly rF1 mods. But damn they do look good, and they bring out the right atmosphere.
Not to mention, they are all up do date with all the latest rF2 tech in terms of graphics, renderings and, almost most important as we use real weather... Puddle maps!

Turn 3 of the current GP circuit. Right hander up hill, before the longest straight, with banks on right and left. I have gone through the bank on the right side of the road, straight to the pits.
