Tracks AI - Wrong Way Sign in Pits

I've created a track and created the fastlane and pitlane ai files. All works OK but when driving thought the pits I get the wrong way sign in a section of the pit lane.
When I have AI Line helper running, the counter changes from the main straight coordinates (0.063598) to another location on the track (see below) for the duration of the time the wrong way sign is showing.
I tried creating AI lines on another track that I downloaded and had the same problem, so I believe I'm doing something in the AI process to cause this and the problem is not with my developed track.

I'd appreciate any help in rectifying this.
