AI Driver Changes in Quick Race - What am I missing?

Not sure if anyone's asked this before (or if anyone's even attempted it) but I'm trying to do an offline AI league in rFactor for the second time. One thing I've always been confused about is how drivers work in Quick Race, given that you can assign more than one driver per vehicle and, at the very least, the first driver will show up. A few pointers would be appreciated.

For reference, the mod I'm using is the Ultimate GT3 mod by Davinci06 and have been trying to use both stock and custom tracks in 1 hr 20 min race formats at 2x time scale. My goals are to make a "pit window" and have driver changes occur about halfway through the race. All I want to know for now is A) if it's possible, and B) how the driver changes can be achieved. I also want to know if the advanced features are locked to the Season mode or if they can be unlocked in Quick Race too. If it helps, I also have the rFJR AI Enhancements Plugin as well.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, no AI driver swaps are possible in rFactor 1. The feature was present in Sports Car GT (an older ISI title) but was discontinued for rFactor 1, and this persisted into Reiza's derivative games like Game Stock Car and Automobilista 1. It's possible in GTR 2, but that is a different version of the isiMotor2 game engine. The "Driver2", "Driver3", etc. text fields in some vehicle rFactor 1 files are presumably holdovers from the past that do nothing.
