AI Consistency

Hi, I've reinstalled rF lately and got FSR 1991 mod to play. Everything is good except AI's consistency. In the race I see 3, 4 or 5 drivers to trade the first place every 1-2 laps. Like Senna overtakes Prost and goes 3 seconds away, only to fall back to like 4th in the next laps. Then Prost takes 1st and does the same, then Mansell etc. Can I change something to make them more consistent?
 
Personally I like this type of racing, in RL or sims, rather than a parade; but in the AIW file for each track is "AIRange=" setting, this controls the variance of AI laptimes around the base setting. I believe this value is a percentage, so 0.1 (common value for many tracks) is 10%, lower values will close up the field, higher values will spread them out more. In the talent files are "composure" and "recovery" which supposedly control how well the AI handle traffic and passing and how quickly they respond to mistakes, but it's questionable how much effect these actually have.
