Actually now that I look at this again, I think it's the file that stores the presets. It's somehow corrupted. I think you should try deleting it. This will delete your presets if you have any, but it might make the app work again. It should be here:

Code:
Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension\state\lua\app\Advanced Gamepad Assist Config.ini
Yes, everything worked, thank you very much

How to stop the assist downshifting in the middle of the corners? I tried to play with the downshift settings setting 50-90% and it just changes in which part of the corner or which corners it happens. Car used is F2004.
Otherwise this looks amazing.

You can't, the automatic would basically need a crystal ball to predict what you're about to do. It just sees that you're slowing down so it downshifts, it can't do much else. You'd have to use manual for that level of control.
But I am working on making the rev-matching and clutch a bit smoother. In the F2004 sometimes the downshifts can lock up the rear wheels for a moment which makes it lose the rear end. I'll iron that out a bit in the next update.

Hi, I'm using keyboard, arrow buttons to steer and for some reason every time I steer this preset thing keeps popping up. Is there any way to disable it? I can't seem to find any settings for this. thanks

If you drive alone then you can use hotlap mode which doesn't have a pit menu. Otherwise you can either bind your keys to WASD or tweak an ini file that prevents the pit menu from using the arrow keys.

Hello I use it on assetto corsa first of the name, I would like to know if it is possible to use it on Assetto Corsa Competizione please?

Otherwise nothing to say, it is really the best controller plugin for AC

this mod makes the game awesome I was always limited by housing space and gamepad is the only way I can ever play. there's only one thing that it's still a bit dificult wich is managing the gamepad triggers pressure, any chance to get a "gamma" setting for non linear braking and accelerating?

It's a great mod, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong... I remember being so stoked about the trigger vibration when I installed the mod, but after a day or two without touching anything the trigger vibration is gone. I've tried everything, deleted it in the mod folder, clean install, doesn't work. Rolled back to 1.5 version, clean install, doen't work. Use the in-app factory setting, no luck, reinstall my CSP, does not work as well...

It's still the best gamepad assist of all time tho don't get me wrong, it's just.... such a bummer....

Edit: figured it out... if you want trigger vibration to work you gotta disable steam input for AC

followed the instruction, even using CM paid version, but the interface still looks like this. clicking enable won't enable the extension. is there a solution?

Hey, I love this gamepad script. It's the best out of all the available ones. But I've been wondering, if it would be possible to implement haptic triggers for the PS5 controller. Because the "Dualsense Extended" script that comes with CSP does actually have working haptic triggers. Do you think you could check this out? I think that would make the experience even better!

Sure, but I don't have a dualsense myself, and I can't do it without testing it.
