I was wrong. In my setup descrip for the Alfa T33 TT 12 (below), I said I'd like to see a matchup with Ferrari's 333SP. No, the closest equivalent from Maranello would be their 312PB (the 333SP didn't arrive until 12 years after the Alfa appeared; the 312PB appeared a couple of years before); it weighs about the same and has about the same horsepower. AC Legends' 312PB is a little slower than the Tipo 33, because--I think--the Ferrari has a more authentic grip level (the Alfa did feel a little too well planted for an old lady). The rest of the Ferrari's kit is likewise pukka: it's set up for a H-shifter (paddles would not be period correct), you should burp the engine during up-shifts and heel-and-toe during down-shifts. The PB's cockpit is more realistic-looking. The gear choices are more felicitous. The only sour note is the exhaust note (from outside, it sounds like a bird is caught in the Webers). Ten-lap race setup.
