Apps folder is not required anymore as it contained a legacy app for Sol.

You can manually go to system > cfg > ppfilter folder and drag&drop A3PP contents in the same path on AC install. After that, restart CM and you should see my filters

Oh and yeah there is sol 2.2.9 but I purely use pure now even with the weather controller it is the pure one.

Make sure you update to Pure 0.271 (or Pure Gamma 1.0) and CSP 0.2.4preview1 or above.
If it didn't get fixed, look into Pure Config -- PP section and post a screenshot here with that app open
