3dsimed help

Im trying to modify a layout of a track.
The track in question is monaco 1990 and im modifying it to get the 1973-1975 layout.
This part im stuck on, Ive change the chican to the old one, manually changed wireframe coordinates to get the look i want and that stuff.

The problem started with moving the row of tires. I opened it up in a seperate tab, moved it using edit>translate and trimmed it to make it 4 tires long via removing faces. I exported the file and saved it in the track directory, I load the track in game and now i see this section of this track is shifted off and not properly conected to the rest of the track. I removed my modified tires and put the original back but the problem is still there.

How do i fix this problem with objected being in differnt places compared to editor.
I spent allot of time trying to mod this section of the track and i dont wana restart it.
Someone please help me.
Thanks

(Note: in the photos are original tires after I went back from my modified tires)

In game: (You can see clearly that it doesnt match up like in the editor, the tires seem to be in the right place but the track isnt?)

Started that section again from scratch, didnt mess with moving tyre barrier around this time, But as you can see its still missaligned but just not as bad as before. I dont understand why this is happening. All i did this time was extend the faces of the guard rail where the trees are further up the track, removed the curb of the new chicane then move/ copy and paste faces to cover up the who holes then change textures.
If moving tires didn't do this, does moving faces around mess with it aswell!? I am completely lost. I don't understand this problem at all.
Any 3dsimed expert please help me.
Thanks

I think if you use translate to move something you may need to reset the pivot points back to 0,0,0.
Ive found a work around for the moment. What I done is copy and paste the faces in a new file and edit them how i wish, save it as a new object. Then import that object into the original file and explode it. Same works for object.
Ive also experimented with using blender to edit the object. Importing and exporting as collada.dae but ive run into problems with that. Blender is changing the name of my materials aswell as the properties of them. Makes it look weird and glitchy ingame. Im a complete novice in blender, i dont know if theres a way around it.
Anyways
Thanks for your help
