History of the circuit

Mount Panorama Circuit is a motor racing track located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. It is situated on Mount Panorama and is best known as the home of the Bathurst 1000 motor race held each October, and the Bathurst 12 Hour event held each February. The track is a 6.213 km (3.861 mi) long street circuit, which is used as a public road when no racing events are being run, with many residences which can only be accessed from the circuit. The track has an unusual design by modern standards, with a 174 m (571 ft) vertical difference between its highest and lowest points, and grades as steep as 1:6.13

What do I need to know?
  • Club rules are enforced. Check them out here
  • We highly recommend using the in-built ACC radar when racing so you can keep it close and fair
  • Voice chat is available on the OverTake Discord if you want to chat. Please use push to talk and limit chat during the race to apologies / lapped traffic info.
  • Please ensure your real name is set on your OverTake profile and matches your in-game

I think you should try. The car was amazing in 1.8, but the changes in 1.9 made it worse, but it is a good car. I think the main issue is the TC, even on 1 it's intrusive. Maybe you need to run with TC 0 through most of the lap, and use 1 going up the hill.

The uphill is where you gain the most by running TC0. Not planning on doing that tomorrow, but did that on the 992 in quali for a comp this year and gained in the range of 0.3s doing it. Not worth it for the rest of the lap, unless you are really, really brave.
