Group C Le Mans OT.jpg

With the 24 Hours of Le Mans on this weekend, it is time for Overtake to do our own Special Event to celebrate. We are taking the absolutely mega Group C cars from the 1991 season and sending them around the track of the time, with bumps, hills and lack of runoff areas from the early Nineties! The three iconic cars in the Sauber C11, Porsche 962C and Mazda 787B will be our steeds as we set off for 24 Laps of the Circuit de la Sarthe!

Eligibility: You must be a PREMIUM member. You must also use your REAL NAME on all RD servers and Discord, and include this in your forum profile. It is the only way of identifying who you are during an event.

CUSTOM LIVERIES
Unfortunately, due to issues with sharing custom car skins for the Livestream, we cannot use the alternate liveries of pre-designed cars as we usually do.

As such, if you wish to run a custom livery for this event, please send over Livery skins or completed .mas files to me @Jimlaad43 in a private message by 19:00UTC Wednesday 12th June so I can create the mod pack with everyone's custom livery.

If you do not want to use a custom livery, fear not for there are plenty of different awesome default liveries for you to use.

Communication
After some issues in the OT500 with getting messages to users, please be aware of the following advice before joining this race.
  • JOIN THE DISCORD VOICE CHAT - All necessary information or incident discussions is best solved in voice chat. It is the first place we will try to contact you. Problems can be solved in the length of a short straight if everyone involved is listening to voice chat. Also, if unexpected things happen or a last-minute change or fix needs to happen, voice chat is where it is easiest for this to be said and heard.
  • IF NOT, READ THE IN-GAME TEXT FROM ADMINS - If either myself, another staff member or the server itself types in the in-game chat, it is your responsibility to read it and react to what is said there. We reserve the right to kick anyone from the server who ignores clear instructions if they are ignored for a significant length of time after multiple attempts.
  • READ THE FIRST POST - All the information you need is held in these posts in the thread. If you don't understand something, ask us and we can give you an answer. While on the server itself, if you are in the voice chat, we are always happy to help and can answer questions all the time. Just don't expect us to type essays mid-way through a race, we are also wanting to race in these. But yeah, come along and have a blast racing here!
